One of the easiest and biggest crowd pleasing recipes I make regularly is chili cheese dip. I almost always have the ingredients in the house. Let’s be honest, there are only three ingredients, so that is nothing too difficult. I was going to make the dip for a potluck at work and figured I might as well switch it up a little bit. I added in some hot dogs. Who doesn’t love a chili cheese dog? That is where this recipe came from.
1 block of cream cheese, softened
1 can of chili without beans
2 cups shredded cheese
2 hot dogs
In a glass dish, spread the softened cream cheese in an even layer. On top of that, spread the chili out in another layer.
Slice the hot dogs in half lengthwise then chop into bite sized pieces. Sprinkle the hot dogs on top of the chili. Top with the shredded cheese.
To cook, you can either microwave or bake until the cheese is melted. Serve with tortilla chips.
