Pizza Dippers

I love that this recipe doesn’t require many ingredients and most of them are things I always have in the house. Pizza dippers are easy, quick and a crowd pleaser.  I am officially adding two recipe to my regular snack and appetizer list. My husband my have requested that, but these sure are delicious.
We spent the weekend visiting my sister and her family in Iowa for my nephew’s 3rd birthday. We ate a ton, as always, and this was one of the appetizers we had while the ribs were on the grill.

Here is what you’ll need:

1 can of crescent rolls

1 block of mozzarella cheese

Pepperoni slices

Pizza sauce or tomato sauce with Italian seasoning

Start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees.  Roll the crescent rolls out flat.  On each triangle, lay out a few pieces of pepperoni in a single layer and a slice of mozzarella cheese.  Roll the crescent rolls as you normally would and place the, on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with garlic salt.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes flipping halfway through.

While the dippers cook, warm the pizza sauce or make it yourself by mixing a can of tomato sauce with Italian seasoning and a little bit of garlic salt.

Once the dippers are cooked, cut them in half and serve with the pizza sauce.  These won’t last long, so you may want to try one before you serve them!
